Moore is situated on a corner lot in Mar Vista that had a downslope into an alleyway. Since the majority of the lot was situated eight feet above the alley, we seized this perceived disadvantage and transformed it into a positive feature. We designed a two-story structure with a rooftop deck, capitalizing on the elevated position to enjoy breathtaking views of Venice, California, and unobstructed views extending all the way to Catalina Island. The modern home featured two stories above ground and one story below, incorporating a screening room and garage. The three floors, including the rooftop deck, provided the foundation for a DNA helix design staircase, serving as the central focal point of the residence.

By integrating these unique elements, we crafted an immersive indoor-outdoor California living experience, where each room offered either a panoramic view of the picturesque backyard and pool or the captivating Pacific Coast.

Every room was meticulously designed to entertain and embody the essence of California living.
